Foundations Series

Galatians

Study of the Apostles' Creed

This class reflects upon two of our five core values -- gospel-centered and confessional -- on a level accessible to everyone. The class works through Michael Horton's book We Believe.

Leadership Training

(The Spiritual Leadership Training Seminar and Theology 1 are required courses for those in leadership at CPC.)

Spiritual Leadership Training Seminar

An important part of leadership training at CPC, this class will take you through the theology driving leadership, lay counseling, basic hermeneutics, and other tools for leadership.

Theology 1

The intention of this class is to construct a theological system which is consistent with the revelation of God as contained in the Old and New Testament scripture.  However, we don't do it alone!  We utilize that unbroken tradition of interpretation distinguished as the classic evangelical and reformed faith.  The course assumes a confessional approach rather than a skeptical/apologetic one.  Continuity with the historic reformed tradition is maintained through our text, The Westminster Confession of Faith.

Introduction to Reformed Ecclesiology

Bible Interpretation

Church History I

Would you like to know more about the history and theology of the church from the close of the New Testament through the 5th century? Then listen to this class taught by Mark Anderson and Junius Johnson.  To listen to lectures please visit the sermons download page here.

Covenantal Parenting

A seminar that explores a Christian view of the family with special focus on a covenantal and gospel-centered approach to parenting.  Time was spent discerning and applying a Christian theology of the family including its many practical implications for raising children with a baptismal identity.  This seminar was taught by Rev. Preston Graham.
