CPC Care Teams Interest Form

"For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another."

As a part of the wider mercy ministries at CPC, Care Teams have been created to serve as church-wide care for anyone in our congregation with a need. You can sign up for a team that matches your serving-ability or skill set, so that people at CPC are aware of the resources and gifts we have within our family, and thus can lean upon one another.

Upon filling out the form, our mercy coordinator, Layne Boles, will place you in the corresponding CCB group/team. When a request comes in that exceeds what a Life Group or friends can handle, we will share the need with the appropriate Care Team, who can then mobilize toward a solution.

With freedom to say no to any request, we ask that you sign up with the expectation that you can give time to 2-3 projects/needs a year. Please sign up for one or multiple teams by selecting from the list below.

We are excited for what the Lord will do through this system, and the people of our Church serving one another!

CPC Mercy Ministry Care Teams

Hospitality

  • Provide visits to individuals and/or outings for those in need of community.
  • Go with someone to an appointment for support.
  • Join shepherds for communion with those who cannot attend Sunday service.

House & Lawn Maintenance

  • Assist individuals or families in yard work and lawn maintenance.
  • Additional specialty tasks, including mechanical, carpentry, and more.

Home & Family Support

  • Childcare
  • Home and personal organizing
  • Life Transition care

Transportation

  • Provide transportation to church, medical appointments, job interviews, outings, and more.

Referrals & Resources

  • Referrals to social, housing, and mental health services.

Tech Help

  • Help with technology.
  • Set up a home printer, create an email account, or assist in navigating phones or computers.
  • Especially great opportunity for our kids and students!

Legal & Financial

  • Provide legal direction and referrals.
  • Assist in financial advising or tax assistance.

Medical

  • Support and advice.

The form asks for first and last name, email, and the Care Teams you would like to join. Please submit separate forms for kids and family members.
